Oh! You found the archive! This page is a place to store my older stuff. Currently the cutoff year for "oldest stuff I’ll put in the bookshelf " is 2019.
For a little context, I would’ve been 16 in 2019… These feel kind of like the art equivalent of baby photos?
This page exists because I thought it’d be nice to be able to share some of my earlier media projects!
These are all of fairly questionable quality. I think I’ve grown a lot as a person and creative since making them, but I guess I’ll let you be the judge of that.
Games
Majority windows-only, with 2 browser-based (Lost isle v1 & Hidden)
- The Lost Isle | v1, v2 | 2019, a little Môsi world & a first attempt at using Godot (college assignment). A bit of a nothing-burger, if I’m honest.
- The End is Nigh | 2016~17, silly VN about the perils of bringing a pet rock to life.
- Seaside Shenanigans | 2016~17, silly VN about a beach day.
- Hidden | 2017, a short bitsy game about a lost little spirit
- Wonder Tea | 2017, attempt at an alice-in-wonderland style story?
Comics
The Mirror Spell | v1, v2, v3, v4, v5, v6, v7 | 2016~18, Extremely eggy comic about “what if someone told a magic mirror that she wanted to be happy and it responded to this by turning him into a guy?”
None of the seven (!!!) iterations of this were ever completed… It’s a bit of a weird one? Imagine a young teenager desperately trying to express/address feelings that terrify them via comics.
In some ways it’s deeply dishonest and in other ways that dishonesty feels like it’s own kind of truth.
v6 had the longest run. v3 is a sketch of a single page.
Colour Fade | v1, v2, v3 | 2016~18, Comic about “what if everyone lost the ability to see in colour and also there was a big dragon”
It wasn’t originally called “Colour Fade”; I’ve renamed it here because the old name was a bit misleading/inappropriate.
v2 is the most complete version, while versions 1&3 are kind of alternate versions of the first chapter?
