I'm now 3 months post-op, and the anxiety is finally fading...

But it's starting to feel like my body has always been this way. It's strange not having very visible scars!

With the type of surgery I had, there's no need for free nipple grafts, but nipple-related complications do happen. I'm quite squeamish, as mentioned earlier in the diary, and I kept having gory nightmares about like... nipple necrosis.

There are some two-years post-op pics in the author comment on the next page. If you look closely you can see the scarring, which really is fairly minimal.
