Cuts to the pumpkin patch. Fin is bent over inspecting a pumpkin. It's drawn with squiggly lines round it as if it has a bad aura.

FIN: Hmm. Yes. I think this is the one!

He picks it up and takes it to show Basil.

BASIL: Yeah?

FIN: Uh-huh! OW!!!

The pumpkin wraps a root around Fin's arm, twisting tightly tightly and leaving a mark. Fin panics, but is able to get his arm free, with Basil's help. Basil starts to inspect the mark left on Fin's arm.

BASIL: Looks like a curse.

BASIL: Oh no!

BASIL: Minor misfortune, nothing we can't manage.
