Lilac wakes up with a start, taking off from his bed with a swish of his tail. Amor sits with an awkward smile.

LILAC: "Ah! Morning!"

The pair relax a little, recalling the friendship they formed the previous night.

AMOR: "Thanks again, um - for letting me stay last night"

LILAC: "Any time!"

AMOR: "I guess I ought to get going..."

LILAC: "Ah, before you go - can you read?"
