LILAC: "...Yes. The outside world is scary. I have not known anything else."

AMOR: "Oh.."

Both of their faces have fallen, the atmosphere getting a little heavier.

LILAC: "Not you! You're not scary, I mean... You're .. Sweet?"

Lilac is scrambling, a little.

AMOR: "Oh! Um! Thanks?"

I hope you enjoyed this month's double update! I don't know if I'll always post two pages at once, I guess it'll depend on how I'm feeling in any given month.

also, I only have 6 more pages of act 1 left to (re)draw! I'm excited to start working on act 2 :-)

this particular page has gone through a couple passes - here is a side by side of the outtakes

note 27/08/2025: another note from the lazy transcript writer... he says that he'd forgotten about the outtakes for this page! neat! "If I remember to, I'll look into restoring the links once I've finished moving all the pages, author's notes, and transcripts over to 11ty..."
