OC-tober sketchbook 2024

back to the bookshelf

OC-tober is an October art event/prompt list by bweird!

I like to participate in the form of a sketchbook! Last year's sketchbook never got posted, so for this year I'll be uploading as and when I can.

I'll probably be posting these a day or so behind since I usually draw them pretty late at night ^^'

Part 1 #

cover image for my OC-tober sketchbook 2024. It consists of low-opacity sketches from my day 1 pages multiplied over a pastel gradient 1- fav oc
my sona having a little think; 'time to pick favourites again, huh? sadly I have too many favs to share them all here... :('
followed by a doodle of August; 'he's a shapeshifter! I gave him my daydreams, and find him very comforting 💜' Doodles of Shelby; 'tired, afraid, but doing their best to put on a brave face. I gave Shelby my nightmares... sorry Shelby'
A floating annotation 'I am not having a good art day sorry'
A sketched Marlowe; 'finds comfort in being a little secretive. WILL subject themself to the horrors to support their friends'

Part 2 #

2- new ocs.
Most of my newest OCs are over a year old now! Woah!!
My newest-newest OC is technically my sona, but he doesn't really count...
(A drawing of miles propping her chin on her hand, winking, and doing a peace sign)
Miles is probably the newest of the 'vaguely modern' group! Facet and Barley are also pretty new, but I haven't really done anything with them since Memories, oops
(drawings of Facet lecturing/explaining, and Barley looking bored and defeated) drawing of a character sat with hands dripping into water(?), funky patterns running up one of their arms. They have a blank look on their face. the drawing is accompanied by the scribbled notes of a man who is having a late-night brainwave 3- OLD ocs.
choosing to interpret this one a different way to 2-new uwu...
(A sketch of Melody giving a knowing wink)
this is Melody! my old lady adventurer OC.. she's great :D
(there are many more scrawled annotations/ramblings on the page)
